Massages with Heart & Experience

I am Ansaya Klemm, the founder and owner of Baansabai. I have been living in Mainz for many years, where I love living and feel at home.
In 2003 I learned the technique of traditional Thai massage and have been training in various massage techniques ever since.
In 2011 I opened my first own shop, Baansabai, which I have been running with much joy and dedication ever since.

It’s nice to see that many of my customers like to come back to enjoy our massages and relax. I love my job because it’s so nice to do something good for people.

Frequently asked questions about visiting us

What do I need to bring for the massage?

You don’t need to bring anything with you for the massage. All the materials you need for your treatment will be provided and are of course included in the price. Just make sure you have enough time to enjoy your stay with us.

What should you keep in mind when visiting Gen Real?

It is mandatory for our guests to take off their shoes before entering the massage area. Out of consideration for all customers and employees present, we ask that you do not use your phone at Baan Sabai and switch off your cell phone. In accordance with the COVID-19 hygiene requirements, it is still mandatory that every customer wears a mouth and nose covering and disinfects their hands or washes them thoroughly with hand soap before the massage. Please make sure to keep a distance of 1.50 m from other guests.

How much time should I plan for the visit?

To ensure you arrive calmly and start relaxed, we recommend that you arrive 5 – 10 minutes before the treatment begins. After the treatment, take some time for a glass of water or a cup of tea to allow the massage to take effect.

Are Baan Sabai massages reputable?

We only offer serious, high-quality massages from certified masseuses. Traditional Thai massage is a massage technique that has been passed down for thousands of years and has a high cultural significance. We do not offer erotic massages in our establishment. The management reserves the right to report telephone or personal inquiries as well as immoral behavior with a sexually harassing background in accordance with Section 185 of the German Criminal Code and, if necessary, to issue a ban from the premises.

What should I do if I cannot keep an appointment?

Please let us know by phone or email as early as possible, but no later than 4 hours before the start of your treatment. Please remember that your masseuse and the room will be kept free especially for you. Short-term cancellations or no-shows without prior notice mean a double loss of earnings for us, as we will then no longer be able to pass the appointments on to other guests. If you do not show up without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the price.

Are there parking spaces?

Your oasis of well-being is just a few meters away from the parking garages at Cinestar, Fort Malakoff and the Roman Theater. Additional parking spaces can be found on Neutorstrasse, Holzhofstrasse and Grebenstrasse. Alternatively, you can reach us easily and conveniently by train, as the Roman Theater train station is just a few minutes’ walk away, as are the Alstadt/Holzhof, Roman Theater and Holzturm/Malakoff-Passage bus stops. There are bicycle parking spaces directly in front of the shop.
